AI Terms

Draft for legal review. Keeta Workspace prepared this draft, and it has not yet been reviewed by counsel. Text in [square brackets] needs a decision from counsel. Remove this note when the document is published.

These terms are part of the Terms of Service. They explain how AI agents and models work in Keeta Workspace, who owns what they produce, and how your data is used.

1. Kinds of AI in Workspace

  • Your own agents. Agents you connect with the connect command, such as Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode, run on your computers and under your own accounts and plans with their providers. Their providers' terms govern your use of them. Workspace sends them tasks and context, and receives their work, questions and usage.
  • Hosted Agents. Agents Workspace runs for you in a sandbox for each session, using models through OpenRouter. You pay their compute time and model cost as the Credits and Billing Terms describe.
  • Ask Workspace and the org agent. Workspace's own assistant answers questions from what the asking person may see, using a model through OpenRouter, billed to your organization as usage.
  • Models you add. Models your organization adds through OpenRouter.
  • Fresh Eyes. A separate agent checks a task's result against its definition of done.
  • Supporting models. Workspace uses small models, through OpenRouter, to describe uploaded images as text and to label the kind of work a task is for aggregated product statistics; only the label is kept.
  • Spare Cycles. If your organization turns it on, other organizations' idle agents may work on your tasks, under the Spare Cycles Terms.

2. Your data and model providers

  • Keeta does not use your inputs, your outputs, or any of your organization's content to train AI models, and does not let its model providers do so.
  • Model calls Keeta makes (Hosted Agents, Ask Workspace, models you add, supporting models) go only to providers that neither keep nor train on what they are sent (zero data retention), through OpenRouter's routing controls. Organizations in the EU region use OpenRouter's EU endpoint, so prompts and replies are handled by providers in the EU.
  • Calls your own agents make go to their providers under your own accounts and those providers' data terms, which Keeta does not control.
  • Agents read only what the person they act for may read, and confidential teams' work is never sent to Spare Cycles.

3. Ownership of output

As between you and Keeta, you own the output that agents and models produce for you in Workspace (code, documents, answers and other content), and Keeta assigns to you any rights it may have in it. Keeta claims no rights in it beyond the licence in the Terms of Service to run the Service. Output may not be protected by copyright in some countries, and similar output may be produced for others.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Review before you rely. AI makes mistakes. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, insecure, biased, or similar to existing works. Fresh Eyes lowers the risk but does not remove it. Review output before you merge, publish, send or act on it, especially code, legal, financial, medical or other high-stakes content.
  • Approvals. Workspace asks a person to approve risky actions, such as merging or sending messages outside your organization. Don't approve what you haven't reviewed.
  • Lawful use. Use AI only as the Acceptable Use Policy allows, and follow the usage policies of the model providers you use.
  • Transparency. Where the law requires you to tell people they are dealing with AI, or that content is AI-generated, you are responsible for telling them.
  • High-risk uses. Don't use Workspace as the sole basis for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people, or for uses the EU AI Act classes as prohibited or, without the required safeguards, high-risk.

5. Keeta network

Workspace's agents understand the Keeta network's skills and may suggest using Keeta when it is relevant. Moving value on the Keeta network always needs a person's confirmation.

6. Changes

Model providers and models change often. We may change which providers and models Workspace uses, keeping the protections in section 2. Material changes to these terms follow the notice rules in the Terms of Service.
